Who We Are and Were We Came From
Anchor Digital Services was created out of necessity when the traditional full service advertising agency, Anchor Communications determined that there was an extreme lacking of qualified web marketing companies to serve the online marketing needs of his diverse and growing advertising client base. It seemed easy to find web designers and web design firms as they almost grew on the trees that line St. Louis streets. Unfortunately, they were just that, design firms, a group of artists and salespeople bent on one thing, designing and cranking out as many web sites as they could, as fast as they could. Vendor after vendor, failed to meet the needs of Anchors client base. Some were so bad, so non responsive and so slow, that key ad accounts were lost. Not one to sit back and watch this happen, TJ Kirgin and his V.P. of Web Marketing Ron Johnston began researching and developing an infrastructure of web products and services with a marketing focus.
The goal was to create a Full Service Internet Advertising Agency, one that would harness the Web 2.0 marketing revolution and deliver top quality interactive and digital marketing products to the Anchor Communications client base. Products like Paid Search or PPC Management, Search Engine Optimization, Interactive, no download, zero buffer streaming video, and other web based technology with one purpose: To increase the online conversion of clients web sites to names, leads or direct sales exponentially with continued betterment.
Anchor Digital Services was born, "the geeky love child of a St. Louis Ad Agency" and so it was.
Today, Anchor Digital continues its never ending quest of online marketing product research and development, always expanding its offerings to the benefit of its client base.
Anchor Digital's client base is quickly outgrowing that of its mother agency, as manufacturers, distributors, sales and service providers all over the country are learning about Anchors unique approach and breadth of services.
Anchor Digital is dedicated to long term and focused marketing support both online and through traditional or support media. Our web sites are developed using the latest standards. We code in semantic XHTML 1.0 Strict and CSS2 meeting W3C compliance. We program in PHP 4/5 and we structure our sites so that those with disabilities can easily navigate them.
